Realm of Kings

In the wake of three catastrophic events, the Universe is in a fragile and weakened state. With the fabric of space itself damaged, anomalous fissures are forming, fissures that are cracking and spreading, collapsing reality and letting in things that should not exist in our dimension.
Guided by the mystical insight of Adam Warlock, the gun-slinging Star-Lord has forged a proactive team of proven cosmic champions ready to protect the vulnerable universe as the Guardians of the Galaxy.

When the terrigen-bomb exploded to end the war between the Shi'Ar and the Kree, it also created the fault, a massive rip in reality itself. Adam Warlock succeeded in halting the rapid spread of this deadly region, but to do so he overlapped this timeline with a future in which he became an evil version of himself known as the Magus.
The Guardians traveled through time in an effort to prevent Adam from making this horrific sacrifice, but in the resulting battle Magus reasserted himself and killed several team members, including Mantis, Martyr, Gamora and Cosmo. Left no other choice, Star-Lord ended Magus' path of destruction by putting a bullet in the head of his friend Adam.
